Having tried several yoga classes in the past and never been actually excited or motivated by them, I was somewhat skeptical when I took my first class with Jamie.  I was hooked from that first class.  Jamie not only motivates and challenges us, but she has an innate sense of what we need at that particular moment and she fulfills that need.  Her classes are calming, invigorating and nurturing, teaching us the practice of yoga with great skill.  - Jean Winkel

I had taken some yoga classes before coming to Jamie, but was fairly new to yoga.  I have been going to Jamie's class for over a year now and it is exactly what I was looking for -- she is a kind and competent teacher. She does an excellent job for helping those in her class create a balanced yoga practice -- she encourages us to challenge ourselves but also to listen and do what is right for our individual bodies.  She shows modifications for every pose, so each person can find a pose that works for them.  She brings spunk and fun into her class, loves to learn and share her knowledge with everyone and is always bringing new poses and information to class.  She is a wonderful teacher, passionate about yoga and people.  I highly encourage anyone -- whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi -- to join one of her classes ! - Moriah Candler

Jamie's yoga class is appropriate for any level yoga student.  She differentiates every pose from easy to difficult and makes sure to give enough time to get into the pose, then checks to see how everyone is doing.  I've had many yoga instructors over the last 13 years and Jamie is the best!
